This 600 tonne steel arch bridge is 74 metres long and over 17 metres wide, and is expected to improve access and road safety in and around the business park adjacent to the Brussels-Charleroi Canal. The bridge was built in the workshop in twelve transportable sections. The individual sections were then assembled on site along the canal and finally transported by ship to their final position with the necessary care and precision before being placed.
